The “Auke Bear Mural” is a reflection of Rio’s first impressions of life in Alaska. It depicts his firsthand account of bears fishing in the river and nights aglow under the Northern Lights. The piece captures the surreal fantasy of the Last Frontier. The mural was named after his first home in Alaska, Auke Bay. “Auke Bear Mural” is a tribute to the mountains, the wildlife, and the spirit of adventure that awaits those who seek it.
