1. Introduction & Definitions

By accessing riorenders.com and purchasing artwork, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

Definitions: Throughout this document, the terms "I," "me," "my," "the Artist," and "the Owner" refer specifically and exclusively to Rio Kelly Schmidt.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use this website or make a purchase.

2. Intellectual Property Rights

Ownership: All artwork, images, designs, and content on this site are the sole and exclusive property of Rio Kelly Schmidt.

Usage: A purchase of a physical piece of art (original or print) does not transfer copyright to the buyer. You may not reproduce, scan, or use the artwork for commercial purposes without express written permission from me.

Social Media: You are welcome to share photos of your purchased art on social media, but please credit me or tag riorenders.com.

3. Sales and Payments

Pricing: All prices on this website are listed in USD (United States Dollars). I reserve the right to change prices at any time.

Payment Methods: Orders will not be processed or shipped until payment has cleared in full.

Taxes & Duties: Customers are responsible for any sales tax, customs fees, or import duties incurred based on their location.

4. Shipping and Delivery

Processing Time: I will do my best to process all orders in a timely manner.

Tracking: Once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email.

Lost/Damaged Items: If your art arrives damaged, please contact me through riorenders.com within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the packaging and the damage. In the event of confirmed shipping damage, I will work with you to file a claim with the carrier and provide a replacement (for prints) or a store credit/repair (for originals) at my sole discretion.

5. No Refunds & Returns Policy

All sales are final. By completing a purchase on riorenders.com, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

No Refunds: I do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for "change of mind" or any other reason once a purchase is completed.

Digital/Original Works: Because of the nature of original artwork and digital assets, these items cannot be returned.

Custom Commissions: Deposits and final payments for custom commissions are non-refundable once I have commenced work.

6. Accuracy of Artwork

I strive to display the colors and textures of my work as accurately as possible. However:

Screen Variations: Colors may vary slightly depending on your monitor or device settings.

Handmade Nature: Slight imperfections are a hallmark of original, handmade art and are not considered defects.

7. Limitation of Liability

Rio Kelly Schmidt and riorenders.com are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of this website or the purchase of any artwork.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alaska. Any disputes arising from the use of this website or the purchase of artwork will be handled exclusively in the courts located in Juneau, Alaska.
